Seven women’s soccer players win postseason awards

KCC's 2025-26 women's soccer team.

Seven Kellogg Community College women’s soccer players earned postseason athletic awards from the Michigan Community College Athletic Association and/or National Junior College Athletic Association for their success on the field this season.

KCC award winners include:

  • Sophomore winger Evelyn Alward (Kalamazoo/Plainwell High School), Second Team All-MCCAA
  • Sophomore defender Aubrie Evans (Gobles/Allegan High School), NJCAA Region 12 Division II All-Region Team, NJCAA Region 12 Division II All-Tournament Team, First Team All-MCCAA
  • Freshman goalkeeper Taylor Havilar (Richland/Gull Lake High School), NJCAA Region 12 Division II All-Region Team, NJCAA Region 12 Division II All-Tournament Team, First Team All-MCCAA, MCCAA All-Freshman Team
  • Freshman defender Haylie Kinney (Battle Creek/home school), NJCAA Region 12 Division II All-Region Team, NJCAA Region 12 Division II All-Tournament Team, Second Team All-MCCAA
  • Freshman defender Kaeli Mason (Portage/Portage Central High School), NJCAA Region 12 Division II All-Region Team, First Team All-MCCAA, MCCAA All-Freshman Team
  • Freshman forward Raegen Morrison (Hastings/Hastings High School), Honorable Mention All-MCCAA
  • Sophomore midfielder/defender Mallory Semelbauer (Portage/Portage Central High School), Honorable Mention All-MCCAA

The Bruins finished the season as runner-up in the finals of the regional championship on Nov. 2. The team finished with a 6-2-1 conference record and a 10-4-3 record overall.
