KCC recognized select faculty members with Faculty Excellence awards at the College’s annual all-employee General Session in August.
Faculty Excellence Award recipients are nominated by students in the fall and spring semesters. The awards recognize the outstanding performance of full- and part-time faculty, librarians and counselors who demonstrate excellence and provide outstanding service to students.
The recipients of the 2025 Faculty Excellence Award are:
- Math Instructor Gary Comfort, Part-Time Faculty Excellence Award
- Biology Instructor Dawna Feldpausch, Part-Time Faculty Excellence Award
- Nursing Professor Dr. Marciene Morgan, Full-Time Faculty Excellence Award
- Biology Professor Faith Vruggink, Distinguished Faculty Award
