Kellogg Community College’s men’s basketball team won its latest away game 87-85 Wednesday against conference opponent Glen Oaks Community College.
Leading the Bruins on the court were Khylen Watkins (Battle Creek/Harper Creek), who had 23 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists; Malik Thompson (Battle Creek/Battle Creek Central), who had 22 points and 8 rebounds; Jalen Robinson (Belleville/Belleville High School), who had 16 points, 4 steals and 3 assists; and Justin Knight (Oak Park/Oak Park High School), who had 6 points and 7 assists.
“Played great team basketball tonight,” said Head Men’s Basketball Coach Ben Reed. “Great to see the guys get two wins in a row. Time to get ready for Lake Michigan at home on Saturday!”
The Bruins’ next home game starts at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, against conference opponent Lake Michigan Community College at the Battle Creek Central Fieldhouse, 162 Champion St., Battle Creek.
