For the first time, Kellogg Community College’s Bruin Youth Programming initiative is offering a pair of youth summer camps at the College’s Fehsenfeld Center campus in Hastings.
The camps are for youth ages 8 through 14 and will be held at the Fehsenfeld campus located at 2950 W. M-179 in Hastings. They include:
Minecraft Designers
8:30-11:30 a.m. Monday-Thursday, July 9-12
If you love the game Minecraft, and have always wanted to design your own world, this camp is for you!
Roblox Makers-Coders-Entrepreneurs!
12:30-3:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, July 9-12
Discover how to code in the Lua language while playing and designing worlds in Roblox, an online universe where you can create anything you dream!
Each camp costs $135, or campers can take both camps for a reduced rate of $199.
REGISTRATION
Registration is open until the beginning of each camp and can be completed entirely online at www.kellogg.edu/youth. Participants can also register:
- By phone by calling KCC’s Lifelong Learning Department at 269-965-4134 and registering with a credit or debit card.
- In person at the Lifelong Learning office in room 305 of the Lane-Thomas Building on KCC’s North Avenue campus in Battle Creek.
KCC’s Bruin Youth Programming initiative, administered through the College’s Lifelong Learning Department, was launched in 2016 to expand the College’s regular offerings of sports camps and Bruin Bots robotics initiatives held throughout the year on campuses in Battle Creek, serving kids from first grade through high school.
