TahVeayr Boykins, of Battle Creek, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play men’s basketball at Kellogg Community College and will begin playing for the Bruins next season.
Boykins is a graduate of Walled Lake Western High School. A highlight of his high school career was scoring 19 points in the fourth quarter of a game where his team had been down by 10; his team ended up winning by 13.
KCC’s Head Men’s Basketball Coach Gary Sprague called Boykins “a complete player.”
“He’s a tall point guard who passes first but can score inside and from behind the 3-point arc,” Sprague said.
