Three Kellogg Community College women’s soccer players earned postseason soccer awards from the National Junior College Athletic Association and Michigan Community College Athletic Association for their play during the team’s Fall 2019 season.
KCC’s 2019 NJCAA and MCCAA Women’s Soccer Award winners include:
- Rachel Bammer, a freshman midfielder and Harper Creek High School graduate from East Leroy, who earned NJCAA Region XII Division I Second Team All-Region and MCCAA Honorable Mention All-MCCAA honors
- Arianna Cardenas-Jones, a freshman defender and Kalamazoo Central High School graduate from Kalamazoo, who earned NJCAA Region XII Division I First Team All-Region and MCCAA Honorable Mention All-MCCAA honors
- Baylee Willis, a freshman forward and Climax-Scotts High School graduate from East Leroy, who earned NJCAA Region XII Division I First Team All-Region, MCCAA Second Team All-MCCAA and MCCAA All-Freshman Team honors
This season was the first women’s soccer season at KCC since 2013. The Bruins ended the team’s first season back early this month in postseason play, with an overall record of 6-10 and a 4-8 record in the team’s MCCAA Conference.
