Kellogg Community College’s Lifelong Learning Department in partnership with INNOVATE Albion is offering a series of free STEM Saturday events for kids and their families in Calhoun County.
The events will feature hands-on STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) activities and demonstrations appropriate for all ages. The first three events will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on the following Saturdays at the locations indicated:
- Jan. 21 at INNOVATE Albion, 200 W. Center St., Albion
- Feb. 18 at KCC’s Regional Manufacturing Technology Center, 405 Hill Brady Road, Battle Creek
- March 18 on KCC’s main campus, 450 North Ave., Battle Creek
Future events will be held on the third Saturday of each month at locations to be announced.
STEM Saturdays are being funded via a $100,000 Consumers Energy Foundation grant awarded in 2022 as well as initial support from the Albion-Homer United Way, Haas Trucking and Team 1 Plastics.
