Winter/spring courses offered at KCC in Coldwater

Kellogg Community College is offering nearly two dozen in-person courses, CNA training and all the training required to earn a Basic EMT Certificate at the College’s Grahl Center campus in Coldwater this winter and spring.

The College is also offering more than 80 Industrial Electricity and Electronics training modules at the Branch Area Careers Center, which is located next door to the Grahl Center.

Registration for winter/spring courses is open now and can be completed online via the KCC website or in person at any of the College’s five campus locations, including the Grahl Center. Student registration information, including links to registration instructions, policies, tuition and fees and other information, is available at kellogg.edu/registration.

Online Programs

In addition to offering courses on campuses in Coldwater, Albion, Battle Creek and Hastings, KCC is offering more than 130 courses online across a wide variety of academic subjects this winter and spring. KCC students also have the opportunity to earn six associate degrees and five certificates through KCC almost entirely online.

Students in each program have the opportunity to complete all coursework entirely online for the duration of the program, with the exception of the fieldwork requirements that are part of the ECE and Human Services degree programs. Additionally, select testing and exams must be proctored at a testing location approved by KCC.

The Spring 2025 Semester

In total, KCC is offering nearly 300 courses this winter and spring – including more than 130 online courses – in addition to hundreds of Industrial Trades training modules, several cohorts of CNA training, workforce training opportunities and more. The semester begins Jan. 21 and runs through May 12.

Students interested in taking online courses beyond what’s offered in-person on campus can still utilize resources at the physical Grahl Center – including open computer labs, free Wi-Fi and more – to complete their studies.

Students are encouraged to sign up for classes as soon as possible because space is limited and many classes fill up by the start of the semester.

Tuition Discounts

A continuing opportunity for students considering continuing their education this winter and spring is the popular Michigan Reconnect program, which allows eligible students ages 21 and up without a degree to take classes for free or with significantly discounted tuition.

Students ages 21 to 24 are particularly encouraged to apply for the Michigan Reconnect program now, as the state’s expansion opening applications to this age group is only anticipated to last till Dec. 31

About the KCC Grahl Center

KCC’s Grahl Center campus opened in the fall of 1994 and is located at 125 Seeley St. in Coldwater. The campus consists of 13 classrooms, including nine standard classrooms, two computer labs, a science lab, an Allied Health classroom and a student lounge.
