Free community Touch a Truck and Public Safety Day is July 18 in Battle Creek

Kellogg Community College’s Public Safety Education Department, Goodwill Industries of Central Michigan’s Heartland and area public safety departments invite the community to a free Touch a Truck and Public Safety Day event on KCC’s campus in Battle Creek.

Touch a Truck and Public Safety Day will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, July 18, on campus at 450 North Ave. The event is free and open to the public.

Kids and their families can come for a day of discovery and fun with hands-on exploration of more than three dozen emergency vehicles and equipment, including firetrucks, police cars, ambulances and more. Attendees will also get free food and T-shirts while supplies last!

The event is a perfect summertime event for kids, families and curious minds of all ages.
