Kellogg Community College’s popular Bruin Boo Halloween event for kids and their families returns to campus Oct. 22!
Bruin Boo – celebrating its ninth year – is an award-winning, family-friendly community event for kids of all ages that will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, rain or shine on KCC’s campus at 450 North Ave., Battle Creek. The event is completely free and open to the public.
During the event, KCC students, employees and community partners will be dressed to impress in their Halloween best to hand out candy to community trick-or-treaters at dozens of stations offering candy and other giveaways in the halls at KCC.
This year’s theme invites attendees on a tour through the decades in celebration of the College’s 70th anniversary, with area decorations inspired by seven decades of nostalgia, fashion and fun covering the 1950s to the present.
In addition to trick-or-treating, Bruin Boo activities will include:
- Halloween games and activities led by KCC student athletes
- Halloween-themed coloring pages designed by KCC Graphic Design students
- A chance to tour the KCC ambulance with KCC Emergency Medical Services students
- Face painting
- Additional fun and giveaways from community sponsors
- And much more!
