Today at KCC: Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012

The Kellogg Community College women’s volleyball team played to raise autism awareness in a home game against Lansing Community College last night, raising $168.05 at the door for the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek Autism Society in the process. The team is pictured above before the game wearing their team “Raising Autism Awareness” T-shirts.

Here are some reminders of things going on today and tomorrow at Kellogg Community College.

  • Davenport University will host a Transfer Student Information Table beginning at 11 a.m. in the lobby of the Roll Health and Administration Building on Kellogg Community College’s North Avenue campus.
  • Kellogg Community College academic advisor Rob Fracassa will present a free Academic Workshop titled “Student Success” from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Spring Lake Room of the Morris Learning Resource Center on KCC’s North Avenue campus. Scheduled for tomorrow:

  • The Bruin Bookstore, Service Learning and Student Life will be celebrating National Student Day at the bookstore starting at 11 a.m. The event is designed to celebrate students that take the time to do volunteer work, and will include prizes and snacks. Students can also stop by the bookstore to create a video highlighting their volunteer experience.
