KCC's 2018-19 men's basketball team.

The Kellogg Community College men’s basketball team lost its last game of the season 95-83 against conference opponent Lansing Community College on Wednesday in Lansing.

Leading the Bruins on the court were sophomore Omar Tabb Jr., who had 25 points; sophomore Tishaun Cooper, who had 21 points and 11 rebounds; freshman Leveon Greene, who had 15 points and 7 rebounds; sophomore Gregorye Windom, who had 14 points and 8 rebounds; and freshman Zarrion Davis, who had 6 rebounds and 5 assists.

“The Bruins ended the season with four loses to finish out of the playoffs,” Head Men’s Basketball Coach Gary Sprague said. “Yet the team gave its best effort as the season ended. It doesn’t feel like the end of a season, but, the start of a new one.”

The loss brings the Bruins’ overall record for the season to 11-16; the team’s conference record is 6-12.
