Don’t forget to sign up for Bruins Give Back! The first Bruins Give Back volunteer event of the semester is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, Oct. 12, and offers three ways to serve. Participants will get a free T-shirt and lunch.

Here are some other reminders of things going on today and tomorrow at Kellogg Community College.

  • The Kellogg Community College women’s volleyball team plays Lansing Community College beginning at 6:30 p.m. at home in the Miller Gym on KCC’s North Avenue campus. The game is a special match dedicated to raising awareness of autism, with donations accepted at the door to benefit the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek Autism Society, and door prizes. Scheduled for tomorrow:

  • Davenport University will host a Transfer Student Information Table beginning at 11 a.m. in the lobby of the Roll Health and Administration Building on Kellogg Community College’s North Avenue campus.
  • Kellogg Community College academic advisor Rob Fracassa will present a free Academic Workshop titled “Student Success” from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Spring Lake Room of the Morris Learning Resource Center on KCC’s North Avenue campus (pictured above).
