The Kellogg Community College men’s and women’s basketball teams begin postseason tournament play in just a few hours, with the women’s team heading to Grand Rapids to take on Grand Rapids Community College at 5 p.m. and the men heading to Lansing to take on Lansing Community College at 7 p.m.
The women’s team enters the first round of their National Junior College Athletic Association District G competition tonight with a 6-10 record in their Michigan Community College Athletic Association Western Conference, which matches GRCC’s regular season conference record. The teams met twice this season, splitting the games with one win each.

The winner of the women’s game tonight will play MCCAA Western Conference champion Kalamazoo Valley Community College at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 8, at Delta College in University Center.
The men’s team enters the first round of their NJCAA District 9 competition tonight with a 6-10 record in their MCCAA Western Conference, as well, while LCC boasts a conference record of 10-6. The teams met twice this season, also splitting their games with one win each.

The winner of the men’s game tonight will play the winner of tonight’s game between GRCC and Lake Michigan College at 5:30 p.m. Friday, March 8, at Delta College in University Center.
