The Kellogg Community College baseball and softball teams began their seasons earlier this month during their annual spring trips down south, with the baseball team playing a series of 10 games in Louisiana and Mississippi and the softball team playing six in Panama City, Fla.
Both teams begin conference play this week, with the baseball team taking on Glen Oaks Community College in a double header beginning at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Centreville and the softball team taking on Glen Oaks in a double header beginning at 3 p.m. Friday in Centreville.
The baseball team’s first home game – a single nine-inning game against conference opponent Jackson Community College – begins at 2 p.m. this Thursday at Bailey Park in Battle Creek.
The softball team’s first home game – a double header against conference opponent Lake Michigan College – begins at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, at Bailey Park in Battle Creek.
