Kellogg Community College is holding free pre-admission sessions in April for individuals considering nursing as a career or for nursing students who need to complete admission requirements for the KCC Nursing Program.
The Pre-Admission Nursing Sessions will take place on KCC’s North Avenue campus, 450 North Ave., Battle Creek, at the following times and locations:
- 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, in the Binda Theatre
- 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, in the auditorium of the Davidson Visual and Performing Arts Center
- 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 18, in the auditorium of the Davidson Visual and Performing Arts Center
Applicants to KCC’s Nursing Program are selectively admitted each semester. These Pre-Admission Nursing sessions will highlight admission requirement information, general information about KCC’s Nursing Program, “myth busters” about nursing, and helpful tips to help participants determine whether nursing is the right career fit for them.
Representatives from Miller College will also be available to discuss the college’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program and options for students who want to get started on their BSN while waiting for admission to KCC’s Registered Nurse (RN) Program.
Seating for each Pre-Admission Nursing Session is limited and individuals must RSVP by emailing KCC’s Selective Admissions office at seladm@kellogg.edu to secure a place. The email must include the participant’s name, address, phone number and the date of the session they would like to attend.
