Kellogg Community College is proud to announce 14 recipients of the KCC Foundation’s Gold Key Scholarship, the college’s most prestigious scholarship.

The scholarships are awarded to full-time freshmen to recognize and encourage outstanding academic and personal achievement. The fully funded scholarships total $6,000, including a $2,500 award each year for two years and $1,000 awarded if the student continues their educational pursuits after completing a two-year degree program at KCC.

Applicants for the Gold Key Scholarships must be recent high school graduates entering KCC as full-time freshmen with fewer than 24 completed college credit hours, a cumulative high school GPA of 3.2 or higher and an ACT score of 20 or higher. They must also demonstrate leadership experience, community and service activity and involvement in school activities.

Ginger Cutsinger, executive director of the KCC Foundation said this year’s students will be looked to as leaders on campus for the next two years.
