KCC basketball collecting for Food Bank at home games Jan. 31

Kellogg Community College’s Athletics Department invites Bruins students, alumni, employees and fans to help the the College Stomp Out Hunger this Saturday!

The KCC Athletic Department’s annual Stomp Out Hunger food drive is underway now and will culminate with the men’s and women’s home basketball games tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Miller Gym.

Nonperishable food items will be collected at the Miller Gym from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. during game day on Saturday, when the women’s team will take on GRCC at 1 p.m. and the men’s team will take on GRCC at 3 p.m. Donations will go to the Food Bank of South Central Michigan.

Last season, the men’s and women’s basketball teams collected a combined total of 229 pounds of food for donation to the Food Bank.

Admission to both games is free!
