Kellogg Community College will officially welcome students back to campus for the Fall 2015 semester tomorrow with Bruin Blast, the College’s annual fall kick-off event for students.
Bruin Blast will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, around the reflecting pools at the front of KCC’s campus at 450 North Ave., Battle Creek. The event is free and open to the public, but giveaways – including free food and KCC T-shirts – and prize drawings will only be available to students with a current KCC ID.
The event will also include entertainment and games including a Fitness Challenge hosted by KCC’s Police Academy in the courtyard outside the library. College staff, student leaders and representatives from various community organizations will also be on hand to provide information about KCC departments, student organizations and community resources.
Welcome events will also be held at KCC’s regional centers on the following dates:
- 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, at the Fehsenfeld Center in Hastings
- 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at the Grahl Center in Coldwater
- 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, at the Eastern Academic Center in Albion
- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at the Regional Manufacturing Technology Center in Battle Creek
