Zach Dehn, of Battle Creek, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball at Kellogg Community College and will begin playing for the Bruins next season.

Dehn, a right-handed pitcher and 2017 graduate of Lakeview High School, pitched a 2.1 ERA with a 3-1 record from the mound for the Spartans in 2017.

“Zach excelled in the classroom and on the field,” Eric Laskovy, head coach of the KCC Bruins baseball team said. “We look forward to being a part of his growth and development at KCC.”

The Bruins finished up their 2016-17 season last month as conference and state champions, ending with an overall record of 34-17-2 and a conference record of 20-4. For more information about KCC baseball, visit www.kellogg.edu/baseball.
