Kellogg Community College’s women’s volleyball team fell to conference opponent Jackson College in three sets Thursday in Jackson.
The sets were close but the Jets ultimately swept the night with scores of 25-20, 25-22 and 25-23.
Head KCC Coach Tom VanWienen said the Bruins are still working on getting things squared away with the team.
“At times we look pretty good and other times we are lacking some focus,” VanWienen said. “Big weekend for us with lots of playing time to work on things before we come back next week and get back to conference play.”
The loss brings the Bruins’ record for the season so far to 0-2.
The team plays next this weekend as part of the Owens Community College Invitational in Toledo. The Bruins’ next home match starts at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, against conference opponent Kalamazoo Valley Community College in the Miller Physical Education Building.
