Kellogg Community College’s women’s volleyball team fell to conference opponent Grand Rapids Community College in three sets Tuesday at home.
GRCC swept the night with scores of 25-17, 25-12 and 25-21.
“GRCC is a very well-built team that is very disciplined,” Head KCC Coach Tom VanWienen said. “We had some rallies that were fun to watch and the ladies got excited about, but need to have more of those moments in order to start winning matches.”
The loss brings the Bruins’ overall record for the season so far to 0-9; the team’s conference record is 0-4.
The team plays next starting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, against conference opponent Glen Oaks Community College in Centreville. The Bruins’ next home match starts at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, against conference opponent Muskegon Community College at home at the Miller Gym, with free admission.
