Kellogg Community College students interested in transferring to a four-year school can get a sample of what student life is like at three area universities via a series of free College Transfer Visits for KCC students in October and November.
Students can sign up for one or all of the transfer visits at the Academic Advising desk in suite 105 of the Student Services Center on KCC’s North Avenue campus in Battle Creek, or by calling the Academic Advising office at 269-965-4124.
Details about each transfer visit follow. Participating students will meet in the Student Services Center at the times listed below.
Oct. 19: Grand Valley State University
- Meet at KCC at 7:45 a.m. and leave campus at 8 a.m.
- 10:15 a.m. GVSU admissions presentation
- 11 a.m. GVSU campus tour
- 12:30 p.m. free lunch at GVSU
- 2:45 p.m. arrive back at KCC
Oct. 26: Western Michigan University
- Meet at KCC at 8 a.m. and leave campus at 8:15 a.m.
- 9:30 a.m. WMU admissions presentation and student panel
- 10 a.m. WMU campus tour
- 11 a.m. free lunch at WMU
- 1 p.m. arrive back at KCC
Nov. 9: Michigan State University
- Meet at KCC at 8 a.m. and leave campus at 8:15 a.m.
- 10 a.m. MSU admissions presentation
- 10:30 a.m. MSU campus tour
- 1:15 p.m. arrive back at KCC; free pizza lunch at KCC
