KCC’s youth baseball clinic is Aug. 10 at Bailey Park

Kellogg Community College’s decorated baseball team will lead a three-hour baseball clinic for youth ages 7 through 13 next month at the Bailey Park sports complex in Battle Creek.

The baseball clinic will be held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at Bailey Park’s Morrison Field, located on the east side of the complex at 1392 Capital Ave. NE. Instruction will cover both defense and hitting, and players should come ready to play with a glove, helmet and bat.

KCC’s baseball team ended the spring 2019 season as conference, state and regional champions, finishing seventh in the nation in the NJCAA’s Division II Baseball World Series in Enid, Oklahoma, in May. The Bruins finished with an overall record of 40-15 and a conference record of 26-2.

Registration for KCC’s baseball clinic is $35 and is open until the day camp begins. Click here to sign up for the camp online.

  • In person at the Lifelong Learning office in room 305 of the Lane-Thomas Building on KCC’s North Avenue campus in Battle Creek

The camp fee includes a free camp T-shirt and ticket to the National Amateur Baseball Federation World Series happening the day of camp at Battle Creek’s Bailey Park.
