Kellogg Community College’s women’s volleyball team is looking for a win tonight to lift it from a slump that’s seen four straight losses to conference opponents over the past two weeks.
The latest saw the Bruins fall to Grand Rapids Community College in straight sets Thursday at home at the Miller Gym. The Raiders took the night with scores of 25-13, 25-21 and 25-21, respectively.
Head Women’s Volleyball Coach Tom VanWienen said it was a tough night against a very good team
“I am happy with our play in our last couple of matches against some very good teams in our conference,” VanWienen said.
The loss brings the Bruins’ conference record to 1-4; the team’s overall record is 4-5.
