The Kellogg Community College Foundation is offering a limited amount of additional scholarships to help new or returning students pay for school at KCC this spring semester.
The money is available via the KCC Foundation’s General Scholarship fund, which with the additional funds will provide up to 25 scholarships for qualified applicants with award amounts ranging from $500 to $1,000.
The General Scholarship is one of several scholarship funds administered by the KCC Foundation, which has recommended more than $500,000 in scholarship awards for the 2020-21 academic year alone. Scholarship applications are traditionally due each spring for use in the following academic year. If there are unused funds, the KCC Foundation can open up the application process for additional scholarship assistance during the academic year.
The application is open through Jan. 8 for students who have not already received a scholarship for the 2020-21 academic year. Guidelines and application can be found on the KCC website at www.kellogg.edu/kccscholarships.
The KCC Foundation was established in 1998 by the College to seek private funding to assist students with various needs. A nongovernmental, nonprofit 501(c)(3) with its own funds, the KCC Foundation is managed by a volunteer board of directors.
