Fall semester Kellogg Community College students will have a chance to win three free credit hours while checking out the College’s Hastings campus during a walk-in services event July 20-22.
KCC’s “What’s Bruin at Kellogg Community College’s Fehsenfeld Center” event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day at the center, which is located at 2950 West M-179 Highway in Hastings. Onsite services will include application assistance, help viewing and registering for fall classes, self-guided tours of the campus and more.
Students who stop in during the event will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a chance to win a voucher for three credit hours good toward fall classes at KCC. One winner will be selected at random and contacted by email.
“Our intention is by offering some incentives – free credit raffle, KCC swag – we’ll generate some traffic and be able to assist and answer any questions students may have, just as we do on an average day,” Fehsenfeld Center Assistant Tricia Drake said. “We’ll help guide students through the admissions process; students can apply to KCC, view our fall course offerings, register for classes, etc.”
KCC’s Fehsenfeld Center campus opened in the fall of 1996 on a scenic, 95-acre campus. The center consists of a building with 12 classrooms, including eight standard classrooms, two computer lab classrooms, a science lab and a CNA lab, as well as a student lounge and open computer lab for students and free parking for the public.
