KCC baseball allows just five runs over four games in weekend sweep of Glen Oaks

The Kellogg Community College baseball team is on an eight-game winning streak after completing a four-game sweep of Glen Oaks Community College this weekend.

Weekend scores — including an away doubleheader Saturday and home games Sunday — were as follows:

  • Game 1: KCC 3, Glen Oaks 1
  • Game 2: KCC 24, Glen Oaks 1
  • Game 3: KCC 2, Glen Oaks 1
  • Game 4: KCC 3, Glen Oaks 2

KCC allowed just five runs over the four weekend contests.

As of this writing the Bruins are ranked first in the team’s Michigan Community College Athletic Association Western Conference with a perfect 6-0 conference record.

The Bruins play next beginning at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, against Lake Michigan College at home at Bailey Park in Battle Creek. All home games are free and open to the public.
