Eight Kellogg Community College student athletes have won postseason awards from the Michigan Community College Athletic Association or the National Junior College Athletic Association for their performance during the Fall 2022 athletics season.
KCC’s fall sports award winners include:
- Freshman women’s volleyball outside hitter Jordyn Arnold, of Mattawan/Mattawan High School, Honorable Mention All-Western Conference
- Sophomore women’s soccer forward/defender Allison Biergeder, of Battle Creek/Pennfield High School, MCCAA Division II All-Region, Second Team All-MCCAA
- Freshman women’s soccer forward Sara Bruns, of Kalamazoo/Portage Northern High School, Second Team All-MCCAA, MCCAA All-Freshman Team
- Sophomore women’s volleyball outside hitter Abby Herman, of Coldwater/Coldwater High School, Second Team All-Western Conference
- Sophomore women’s soccer midfielder/defender/forward Chloe Leugers, of Marshall/Marshall High School, Honorable Mention All-MCCAA
- Sophomore men’s cross-country runner Reece Ratliff, of Battle Creek/Lakeview High School, NJCAA Region XII Division III All-Region
- Freshman women’s cross-country runner Rowen Talmage, of Battle Creek/Highland Academy, NJCAA Region XII Division III All-Region
- Freshman women’s soccer midfielder/defender Katie Williams, of Big Rapids/Big Rapids High School, Honorable Mention All-MCCAA, MCCAA All-Freshman Team

KCC’s Fall 2022 athletics season kicked off in August with men’s and women’s cross country, women’s soccer and women’s volleyball teams, which wrapped up regular season competition in October. KCC’s men’s and women’s basketball seasons opened this month, and men’s and women’s bowling and baseball teams will begin competition in the new year.
