The first Fall 2023 classes at Kellogg Community College start Aug. 28, and the semester ends Dec. 15. If you’re not a student yet but would like to sign up for fall classes, you can apply now for free online at kellogg.edu/apply. Current students can register for classes any time online via the Bruin Portal.

Video Art courses at KCC are under the “Animation” subject heading designated ANIM.
ANIM 103: Introduction to Video Art (3 credits)
In this video art course, students will learn basic video operation, cinematography and nonlinear editing with Apple Macintosh computers and industry standard video editing software programs. Emphasis will be on comprehensive understanding in the art of the moving image and its relationship to sound. Students will be challenged to develop their own ideas and showcase skills and techniques.
ANIM 203: Intermediate Video Art (3 credits)
In this video art course, students will further expand their knowledge of video operation, cinematography and nonlinear editing with Apple Macintosh computers and industry standard video editing software programs. Emphasis will be on comprehensive understanding in the art of the moving image. Students will be challenged to develop their own ideas and showcase skills and techniques.
