American Sign Language is one of the most widely used languages in the United States and mastering it can open up many opportunities for communication.
Students in this KCC course – which is intentionally designed for students with little or no prior experience with ASL – will learn the basics of ASL with a focus on cultural context, fingerspelling, basic vocabulary and grammatical structures, as well as ways to develop their visual and gestural expressive skills.
