Six Kellogg Community College basketball players earned postseason athletic awards from the Michigan Community College Athletic Association and/or National Junior College Athletic Association for their performance on the court this season.
KCC men’s basketball postseason award winners include:
- Sophomore guard Jakeem Cole (Chicago/Perspectives High School), MCCAA Western Conference Third Team
- Sophomore guard Ke’Marion Tucker (Battle Creek/Battle Creek Central High School), MCCAA Western Conference Honorable Mention
- Sophomore forward Jakyren Woods (Chicago/Perspectives High School), MCCAA Western Conference Third Team
Cole was also awarded KCC’s 2025 Outstanding Male Scholar Athlete Award at the College’s Outstanding Bruin Awards ceremony in April.
KCC women’s basketball postseason award winners include:
- Sophomore guard Makayla Rain Birchett (Dearborn Heights/Annapolis High School), MCCAA Western Conference Honorable Mention
- Sophomore power forward Alana Compton (Middleville/Thornapple Kellogg High School), MCCAA Western Conference Honorable Mention
- Freshman forward Dayshauna Crowley (South Haven/South Haven High School), NJCAA Region XII Division II All-Region Team, All-MCCAA Team, MCCAA Western Conference First Team, MCCAA Western Conference All-Freshman Team
