Kellogg Community College welcomes two Michigan authors to its North Avenue campus on Monday, Feb. 11, for a pair of discussions about their work and writing in general.
Tom Springer, author of “Looking for Hickories: The Forgotten Wildness of the Rural Midwest,” will present a lecture and tip session on essay writing at 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m., respectively, in KCC’s Davidson Center Auditorium, 450 North Ave., in Battle Creek.
Bonnie Jo Campbell, author of the national bestseller “Once Upon a River,” will discuss her writing process and read from her work at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., respectively, also in the Davidson Center Auditorium.
All four events are free and open to the public.
The authors’ visits are part of KCC’s Writing Initiative and funded by the Kellogg Community College Foundation.
