Here are some reminders of upcoming events related to Kellogg Community College.
Scheduled for today, Monday, March 4, 2013:
- The new Student Services Hub areas opened to students for the first time this morning on Kellogg Community College’s North Avenue campus, including new Records and Registration and Admissions desks and the new Hub, which includes open computers for students.
- Western Michigan University’s College of Education will host a Transfer Student Information Table from 1 to 4 p.m. in the North Walkway on Kellogg Community College’s North Avenue campus.
Scheduled for Tuesday, March 5, 2013:
- The student-led campus club Kampus Activities Board will host a Birthday Bash event featuring free cupcakes, T-shirts and a photo booth for students from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the third-floor lobby of the Lane-Thomas Building on Kellogg Community College’s North Avenue campus.
- The Kellogg Community College baseball team will play Southwest Mississippi Community College beginning at 2 p.m. in McComb, Miss., as part of their annual spring trip down south.
- The Kellogg Community College women’s basketball team plays Grand Rapids Community College in postseason National Junior College Athletic Association District G tournament play beginning at 6 p.m. in Grand Rapids.
- The Kellogg Community College men’s basketball team plays Lansing Community College in postseason National Junior College Athletic Association District 9 tournament play beginning at 7 p.m. in Lansing.
Scheduled for Wednesday, March 6, 2013:
- Kuyper College will host a Transfer Student Information Table from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the North Walkway on Kellogg Community College’s North Avenue campus.
- Academic Advisor Kathy Barney will present a free Academic Workshop titled “Transferring” from noon to 1 p.m. in the Spring Lake Room of the Morris Learning Resource Center on Kellogg Community College’s North Avenue campus. - The Kellogg Community College baseball team will play Copiah-Lincoln Community College beginning at noon in Wesson, Miss., as part of their annual spring trip down south.
- A free Financial Aid Open Lab will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. in room 01 of the Ohm Information Technology Center on Kellogg Community College’s North Avenue campus to assist individuals with completing their financial aid requirements. - Davenport University will host a Transfer Student Information Table from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the North Walkway on Kellogg Community College’s North Avenue campus.
- The Kellogg Community College baseball team will play Holmes Community College beginning at 1 p.m. in Goodman, Miss., as part of their annual spring trip down south.
Scheduled for Friday, March 8, 2013:
- Kellogg Community College will host a Ferris State University Transfer Tour departing for Big Rapids from KCC at 8:30 a.m. The visit is free for students and lunch is included.
- The Kellogg Community College baseball team will play Holmes Community College beginning at noon in Goodman, Miss., in the final game of their annual spring trip down south.
- The second Bruins Give Back volunteer event of the semester will be held at locations around Battle Creek from 1 to 4 p.m. To sign up to participate in a Bruins Give Back event, visit www.kellogg.edu/socialscience/servicelearning/registerServLearn.html.
Scheduled for Saturday, March 9, 2013:
- The Kellogg Community College softball team will depart for Panama City, Fla., on their annual spring trip at approximately 2 p.m. from KCC’s North Avenue campus. The team has games scheduled for Monday, March 11, through Friday, March 15.

- Kellogg Community College will display art created by the college’s Arts and Communication faculty members as part of the KCC Faculty Biennial Art Exhibition in the Davidson Visual and Performing Arts Center on the college’s North Avenue campus through Friday, March 22.
