Right-handed pitcher Jacob Lincoln of Jackson has signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball at Kellogg Community College and will begin playing for the Bruins next season.
Lincoln is a graduate of Lumen Christi Catholic High School, where he was an All-Conference player for two years, also receiving All-District and All-Dream Team honors. Lincoln, also an All-Conference football player, was the top pitcher for Titans since his sophomore year.
“Jake is a talented pitcher who has the ability to impact our program immediately,” said Eric Laskovy, head baseball coach at Kellogg Community College. “He is a tremendous student with a strong work ethic on and off the field.”
KCC’s Bruins finished second in the National Junior College Athletic Association regional tournament earlier this month after finishing third in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association conference with a 17-9 conference record.
