New online registration system makes signing up for KCC’s Lifelong Learning classes easier, more convenient

Signing up for Kellogg Community College’s Lifelong Learning classes is quicker and easier thanks to a new online registration system.

KCC offers personal enrichment classes in everything from photography and music lessons to beekeeping and organizing clutter. Finding the right class at www.kellogg.edu/lifelong is now as easy as online shopping.

“It was out there before, but the one we have now is more user-friendly,” Lifelong Learning Secretary Abbie Brennan said. “It’s like Amazon: Search for sections and add them to your cart.”

The spring Lifelong Learning class schedule is online now, along with registration forms and maps to where the classes are located on campus. Classes are searchable by topic.

While online, users can see if classes are full or have open spots, and can register 24 hours a day. After registering, multiple people can share an account so parents can include their children when signing them up for youth programming.

There is also a chance to sign up for the Lifelong Learning Department’s email newsletter, which often includes emails featuring discount codes for various classes.

The current Lifelong Learning class schedule features courses offered through June. For more information, email ll-info@kellogg.edu or call 269-965-4134.
