The Kellogg Community College men’s basketball team will face off against the first-ranked team in their Michigan Community College Athletic Association Western Conference — Glen Oaks Community College — beginning at 7:30 p.m. tonight at home in the Miller Gym.
Glen Oaks ranked fifth in the nation in the latest National Junior Athletic Association Conference poll.
The game could be a big one for the Bruins, who’ve lost a number of close games in the final minutes over the past few weeks and who come to play tonight with a 4-7 conference record and a 7-16 overall record for the season so far.
KCC’s women’s basketball team also plays Glen Oaks at home tonight, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Both the men’s and women’s games are free to watch, though as they’re the college’s annual Healthy Heart Awareness games donations will be accepted at the door to benefit the American Heart Association.
The Healthy Heart Awareness games will also feature door prizes, $1 halftime free-throw shots, and the players warming up in red warmup shirts.
