Kellogg Community College’s men’s basketball team lost its latest away game 80-70 Saturday against Rochester College’s junior varsity team.
Head Men’s Basketball Coach Ben Reed said it was a tough loss, that the men played with a lot of energy but came up short in the end.
“Seen a lot of growth in our team tonight we just have to focus down the stretch,” Reed said. “Every game we are getting better and this early in the season that is very important.”
The team plays next at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, against U of M Dearborn’s junior varsity team in Dearborn. Their next home game starts at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, against the JV squad from Calvin College at the Battle Creek Central Fieldhouse, 162 Champion St., Battle Creek.
