Kellogg Community College’s women’s basketball team lost its latest away game 87-42 Wednesday against conference opponent Mid-Michigan Community College.
Leading the Bruins on the court were Breanna Eddy (Coldwater/Coldwater High School), who had 10 points and 6 rebounds; Sarah Gwinn (Jackson/Jackson Northwest), who had 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 steals; and Dareka Clayton (Battle Creek/Battle Creek Central), who had 8 points and 14 rebounds.
KCC’s Head Women’s Basketball Coach Dic Doumanian said the Bruins improved on the road against the best team in the Western Conference.
“Now we need to keep building on that and play our best game yet Saturday at home versus Jackson,” said Doumanian. “Go Bruins!”
The Bruins’ next home game starts at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, against conference opponent Jackson College at the Battle Creek Central Fieldhouse, 162 Champion St., Battle Creek.
