KCC Foundation announces 2023-24 transfer scholarship recipients

The Kellogg Community College Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2023-24 transfer scholarships for graduating KCC students.

  • Kaylynn Bentley, of Battle Creek, who received the Walter and Lucille Harper Transfer Scholarship 
  • Christian Bowman, of Marshall, who received the Walter and Lucille Harper Transfer Scholarship 
  • Lydia Carpita, of Battle Creek, who received the Virginia M. Hensley Education or Health Care Two-Year Transfer Scholarship 
  • Monica Cowling, of Coldwater, who received the Walter and Lucille Harper Transfer Scholarship 
  • Kane Elmy, of Canton, who received the Walter and Lucille Harper Transfer Scholarship 
  • Teaira Gray, of Springfield, who received the Barbara and William B. Comai Transfer Scholarship 
  • Charles Hall, of Battle Creek, who received the Walter and Lucille Harper Transfer Scholarship 
  • Nathan Herberholz, of Canton, who received the Robert F. Hites Transfer Scholarship 
  • Cooper Middleton, of Marshall, who received the Virginia M. Hensley Education or Health Care Two-Year Transfer Scholarship 
  • Libby Reeves, of Battle Creek, who received the Walter and Lucille Harper Transfer Scholarship 
  • Ella Smith, of Battle Creek, who received the Lindsay B. Draime Transfer Scholarship

Additionally, Diana Ortega-Mejia, of Battle Creek, received the Danette Wilkins Memorial Scholarship, which is awarded to a graduating Dental Hygiene student to help offset the cost of their Dental Hygiene Board Exam.
