KCC sees record enrollment for youth summer camps

It was a record summer for KCC’s Bruin Youth Programming summer camps initiative, which served an all-time high of more than 1,060 summer campers in more than 60 youth day camps on campus.

Additionally, more than 900 community members attended Youth Theatre Camp performances of “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast” in August – presented in conjunction with Battle Creek’s Unity Theatre Company – and KCC student-athletes raised $14,500 for their teams by leading youth sports camps.

The camps are a pipeline for future Bruins. KCC saw more than 200 former campers enrolled in the Spring 2024 semester alone.
