The Kellogg Community College Concert Band will present its annual holiday concert the first weekend in December in Battle Creek.
The KCC Concert Band, performing under the baton of Director Christopher Momcilovich, will present its “Festive Fanfares” concert starting at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, in the Binda Performing Arts Center on campus at 450 North Ave.
The event is free and open to the public.
The concert program includes a selection of holiday favorites including “Fantasia for Christmas, “A Fireside Christmas,” “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” “Old Brenton Carol” and more.
Momcilovich, now in his third year as Concert Band director, said the concert promises to be a perfect holiday outing for families, friends and music lovers of all ages.
“Festive Fanfares is not just a concert; it’s a celebration of community and the joy of music,” Momcilovich said. “We invite everyone to join us for an afternoon filled with the sounds of the season and to experience the magic of live performance.”
The Concert Band is also recruiting musicians of all skill levels for the upcoming winter/spring semester, which begins Jan. 21. Individuals can sign up for the Concert Band course MUSI 160 (for credit) or MUSI 160C (non-credit) to join the ensemble.
