The Kellogg Community College bowling season opened Jan. 3 and includes four additional regular season invitational competitions before postseason play begins in February.
Both teams are again led by Head Bowling Coach Brad Morgan and Assistant Bowling Coach Matthew Thrun.
Women’s Bowling
The women’s bowling team fields a team of eight with three returning sophomores and is coming off a record season in 2024 when they finished seventh in the nation – the best finish in program history.
The team also brought home the College’s first-ever Michigan Community College Athletic Association State Championship in February. Brooklyn Page, a returning sophomore this year from Three Rivers/Three Rivers High School, was a standout individually, taking home Women’s Singles Champion and Women’s All-Event Champion titles at the event.
The team also placed second at the National Junior College Athletic Association Region XII Championship, where returning sophomore Isabelle Pachan, of Bellevue/Olivet High School, finished as Women’s Singles Champion.
KCC’s 2024-25 women’s bowling roster includes:

- Returning sophomore Brooklyn Page (Three Rivers/Three Rivers High School)
- Freshman Isabella Thomas (Flat Rock/Flat Rock Community High School)
- Freshman Alexis Wood (Quincy/Quincy High School)
Men’s Bowling
The men’s bowling team fields a team of six with two returning sophomores. KCC’s 2024-25 men’s bowling roster includes:
- Freshman Carter Casarez (Marshall/Marshall High School)
- Freshman Brady Harper (Coldwater/Quincy High School)
- Returning sophomore Zackary LaPalme (Battle Creek/Pennfield High School)
- Freshman Zhander Lord (Marshall/Olivet High School)
- Returning sophomore Brady Louthan (Portage/Vicksburg High School)
- Freshman Cameron McKee (Battle Creek/Lakeview High School)
Winter Bowling Schedule
The Bruins opened competition Friday, Jan. 3, at the Ancilla College Invitational in Indiana, where the women’s team took second place and the men’s team took third in their respective competitions.
Future competitions will be held weekly through the NJCAA Regional Meet scheduled for Feb. 14 in Lansing, with the NJCAA National Championship Tournament planned for Feb. 27 through March 1 in Cheektowaga, New York.
The Bruins’ sole home invitational this year will be held at M-66 Bowl in Battle Creek, starting at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24.
