Kellogg Community College has been recognized as a Michigan Veteran-Friendly School by the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency.

The Michigan Veteran-Friendly Schools Program recognizes academic institutions committed to supporting the needs of veterans and military-connected students. These institutions are awarded Gold-, Silver-, and Bronze-level status based on their veteran-centric services and programs.

The MVAA awards Veteran-Friendly recognition based on whether or not an institution meets certain criteria for veteran-specific services and programs. KCC was recognized at the Michigan Veteran-Friendly School – Silver level for the following offerings:

  • Veteran-Specific Career Services
  • On-Campus Veteran’s Coordinator
  • Veteran-Specific Website
  • Veteran-Graduation Recognition

The honor recognizes KCC’s commitment to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for Michigan’s veterans, service members and military-connected students, according to the MVAA.
